Craft Fair is Coming!

Mark your calendars because this year’s craft show is scheduled for Saturday, December 2, 2023!

We’ve already registered some wonderful vendors so please let us know if you’re interested in a table. It’s an indoor event so although we had a soggy morning last year, it didn’t dampen the festivities.

Thanks to all of the companies who have already generously donated items for our raffle baskets:

Please be sure to shop and support these companies as they support our cause.

We’d also like to give thanks to the following individuals and families for their generous contributions to the craft fair:

  • The Raups
  • The Weiners

2022 Holiday Craft Fair

The weather outside was frightful and soggy, but that didn’t put a damper on our annual event. Vendor attendance was high, and we had a wonderful assortment of baskets from generous companies, thoughtful vendors, and our awesome residents who donated baskets and items to us.

We even had some great feedback from vendors who praised the marching band and student volunteers who helped unload and load crafters’ vehicles in the pouring rain. We already knew we had a great bunch of students and kiddos, but it’s always nice to hear compliments from others.

Vendors take note for next year: our event is fully indoors where you’re protected from wind, rain, and cold weather and we provide student volunteers to help you unload your vehicles.

We had quite a few basket winners who won multiple prizes, but the real winner was, the one and only, Mr. Moore, who not only took home the alumni baking basket and mega bicycle prize, but who gets to teach and play music with our great kids!

Below are some of the highlights from the craft fair:

The band played a musical compilation of some Christmas favorites
Entertainment provided by Palmyra Marching Band
The sea glass was mesmerizing and inspiring of holiday-hopping in the islands
A unique approach for this crafter was to have comparison prices for similar items found on Etsy and through online shopping
Volunteering at the raffle table
The alumni baking basket was a hit and so was the Coca Cola giftware donated by our Ms. Jablonski
The Phillies basket and mountain bike were also favorites
The ladies of Epicure had nothing but praise for our students and we hope to see them back next year
Jeanie baked up some delicious treats and donated her proceeds to American Cancer Society
We also had some candy and pretzel treats at the snack table
Jenna’s gift tag was a laugh – no puppy this year, maybe next time
Scavenger hunts and grocery gift cards were up for grabs
Kerin made magic whipping up baskets
These hand-painted cutting boards were super festive
The Tree-Rex was too cute
Who knew we needed a crocheted jellyfish in our lives? But we do now.

Thank you to all of the crafters and shoppers who braved the weather to attend our event. It’s such a fun kick-off to the holiday season for us and a great way to support our marching band!

We couldn’t make it happen each year without our student volunteers, band boosters, school administration, and our all-volunteer Palmyra Fire Department who donates tables.

Thank you, everyone, and we can’t wait until next year. We wish you all a wonderful holiday season, a very merry Christmas, and a happy New Year!!

Uno Fundraiser

What a great turnout we had for our Uno fundraiser! It was encouraging to see so many faces and we appreciate everyone who was able to place take-out orders and attend.

Below are some of the highlights from our event:

Mr. Moore, the man, the myth, the legend who makes the magic happen, brought the family
Shout out to our awesome educators!
I spy a color guard and treasurer – the Gillespie family is an asset to Palmyra Band Boosters
The Hemmons and Raymonds were all smiles
The Flynns were out on Friday
Beth, Joe, & Tom support the arts
Bohley and Locke families – 5th generation through PHS!

Thanks again to everyone who helped make our event a success!

We’re wishing you all a safe and happy Thanksgiving!

Congrats on Championships

Congratulations to our marching band who took 8th place, out of 15 bands, at the Cavalcade of Bands Championships on Saturday, November 12th, with an 86.205, their highest score of the year!

They took 3rd place for the Ensemble Visual category and 4th place for Overall Visual Effect. Percussion scored their highest for the season with 5th place and color guard danced their way into 6th place overall!

It’s been a wonderful year and they all worked tirelessly to outdo each performance on the field.
